Maps Campus Maps The interactive map allows you to precisely locate and find information about buildings, classrooms, departments, programs, offices, eateries, residence halls, trees, and art on campus. Located in Erie, Pennsylvania, on a hill overlooking Lake Erie, our 75-acre Main Campus is known as one of the most beautiful in the region. Elements of English Gothic architecture are carried throughout our Old Main, academic buildings and student residence halls. The University of Missouri-Columbia operates a coal fired electrical power plant in Boone County. Electricity is generated for use in the University’s buildings. Low-pressure steam from the plant is used to heat the buildings on campus. This installation is an existing major source. A Part 70 operating permit (#OP1999-087)
